A QR is no more dangerous than any link. Risk lives in the destination — and in stickers placed over yours.

In public spaces attackers sometimes overlay a new code. For important campaigns use hard-to-remove materials or a managed dynamic code on QRcode Global.

Habits before opening

Check the URL preview in the camera. Do not enter passwords after random street scans. For payments trust official counters and known domains only.

Point only to your own or verified pages. Static QR on generate-qr-code.net does not store your payload on our server — you still own the destination.
